5) Dairy/Yogurt

We absolutely love our local Ellenos yogurt! It is our guilty pleasure (because of added sugar). You can find different flavors if you stop by their store in Pike place. The Redmond and Kirkland stores mostly provide the vanilla beans flavor, but occasionally you might find other flavors at the store too. Don’t feel like going to the store? Find the Amazon link for the marionberry flavor right here.

You can also make some scrambled eggs, have some banana or start your morning with some pancakes. The discomfort and soreness of braces goes away in about a week. So, hang in there, go shopping and get some of the items we listed above and before you know it, the soreness will be gone and you are on your way to a beautiful, healthy smile.

Don’t feel like cooking or even staying at home? Well, we have our favorite restaurants that serve some good dishes for your sore teeth.

  1. The dough zone Who does not love the dough zone? Not only it is delicious, but most of the dishes are perfectly safe for people with braces. Order a Xio long bao, the steamed dumplings, the amazing and super delicious pork buns. For all the vegetarians out there, there are so many veggie options including the steamed vegetables. One thing is for sure, you will not leave the dough zone hungry or dissatisfied.
  2. Noodle land   Any of the noodle soups here will do the magic for you. Pad See Ew could be a great choice as well.
  3. Our favorite Molly moon is also right here in Redmond. Any and every flavor that you want! Ice cream is always a good idea. Just make sure you brush really well after eating your ice cream, because you don’t want any cavities.
